Morgan Parker is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte and holds a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Urban Youth and Communities. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC, and is pursuing her master’s degree in Counseling at Wake Forest University. Parker has been a part of the CDF Freedom Schools® family for nine years and has served as a Jr. Servant Leader Intern, Servant Leader Intern, and Site Coordinator in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. Currently, Parker is a graduate assistant and substitute teacher. and makes a continuous impact on her community by volunteering in a food backpacking program and at local schools. Parker is also an advocate for mental health and education. Due to her passions, Parker hopes one day to start her own private practice providing mental health services for children. She is excited for her first year serving as an Ella Baker Trainer and wants to continue making a positive impact on scholars, leaders, and community members.
