Montayha Adams is a graduate student at Indiana University–Purdue University of Indianapolis pursuing a Master’s in Elementary Education and holds a Bachelor’s in Africana Studies with a focus on community engagement. Adams currently serves as a Site Coordinator at the IUPUI School of Education CDF Freedom Schools® site. She joined the movement in 2018 and has since been inspired to continue the work in the Indianapolis Public Schools system as a third-grade teacher. Within her school, Adams serves as chair for Unified Student Leadership, Athlete Director, and Volunteer Liaison.
