Jacqueline Bogan is a dedicated advocate for education and youth empowerment. A native of Dayton, Ohio, Jacqueline’s deep connection to Freedom Schools began over 16 years ago when she participated as a scholar. Since then, she has progressively taken on various roles within the organization, such as Servant Leader Intern, Assistant Site Coordinator, and Site Coordinator. Having demonstrated an exceptional commitment to youth, Jacqueline’s skills and dedication were recognized by The Children’s Defense Fund, leading her to be selected as an esteemed Ella Baker Trainer.
Jacqueline’s true calling is to inspire and uplift the next generation through education. In her current role, Jacqueline serves as the Site Coordinator for the Omega Community Development Corporation’s Scholars of H.O.P.E. After-school Program. There, she creates a nurturing environment where scholars feel valued, included, and motivated to reach their full scholastic potential.
Jacqueline is a 2022 graduate of Central State University, majoring in Educational Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education. Currently, she is pursuing her passion for educational leadership as a graduate student at Wright State University, where she is working towards a Master’s degree in Leadership Development. She is on track to graduate in April 2024. Jacqueline is a lifetime member of Central State University’s National Alumni Association, Greater Dayton Alumni Chapter, and a distinguished member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Beta Eta Omega Chapter.
