Today and tomorrow, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform will conduct a series of hearings focused on how various proposed regulations by the Trump Administration will negatively impact children. As the newest edition of our of State of America’s Children 2020 report makes clear: the kids are not all right. We are hopeful these hearings will help shine a light on that fact as they sound the alarm bell on the Trump Administration’s repeated attempts to underestimate our child poverty rate and deprive children of health care, housing, nutritious food, and clean air and water. We strongly condemn these attacks against programs critical to our nation’s children.
