The 2018 Minnesota KIDS COUNT Data Book entitled “Building Community in a Time of Changing Needs” focuses on trends in key indicators of child and family well-being and highlights public policy that has improved or could improve outcomes for our youngest citizens and the entire state of Minnesota. In order for all of us to be successful, the book emphasizes that Minnesota needs to continue to put its values of ingenuity, caring for each other and supporting work into action by continuing to pass policies that improve the economic stability, health, education, and home and community environments for all children and families.
