Zoe joined the Los Angeles youth justice movement in 2009. She served as a strategist and movement lawyer with the Community Rights Campaign, a director with the Arts for Healing and Justice Network, and an organizer with the LA Youth Uprising Coalition. Her specific focus is on building capacity for community leadership and creating opportunities for transformative culture change. This involves a deep commitment and knowledge of human development, trauma recovery, transformative practice, and experiential learning. She believes that movement building is central to the revolutionary change that is needed, and will continue to fight for a culture that centers the healing and the power of the people.
