Senior, University of South Florida
Toni Maxwell is a senior at the University of South Florida. She is double majoring in Political science and criminology and minoring in Africana studies. Toni is passionate about the field of law and public policy, and has spent her educational career honing in on these interests by participating in initiatives and taking classes that are related to social justice and equity.
Throughout her time at USF, Toni has been involved in organizations like Black Women in Law, the NAACP, Women of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow, and others have deepened her understanding of the meaning of advocacy and service. In addition to these organizations, she currently serves as an Ambassador for the Children’s Defense Fund’s Black Student Leadership Network where she has been able to grow as an activist.
