Sen. Michele Reynolds is serving her first term in the Ohio Senate, representing Madison and Pickaway counties, along with parts of Franklin County, including Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Gahanna, and portions of Columbus. A lifelong Ohioan, she previously served on the Madison Township Board of Trustees and brings decades of community leadership to the role. Sen. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Urban Studies from the University of Akron, and a Master of Law from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She also holds an honorary doctorate from CICA International University and Seminary and is completing her doctorate in Business Administration from Northcentral University. A licensed real estate salesperson, she specializes in commercial real estate. A third-generation business owner and nonprofit CEO, Sen. Reynolds co-pastors The Destiny Center church in Franklin County with her husband, Rick. They have six children and live in Canal Winchester. Her many honors include the 2016 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama and the 2019 Central Ohio Social Justice Award for Outstanding Leadership.
