Rev. Danielle Ayers is the Pastor of Justice at Friendship-West in Dallas, TX, under Rev. Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III. She leads public policy and justice initiatives, focusing on economic, food, gender, environmental justice, racial reconciliation, and civic engagement.
Rev. Ayers consults nationwide on decolonizing mission trips and building justice ministries. She co-convenes the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, delegates at the Transatlantic Roundtable on Religion and Race, and serves on several boards, including the New Baptist Covenant.
She holds a BBA from the University of Memphis and an M.Div. from Brite Divinity School and is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry at SMU Perkins. She co-authored “To Serve This Present Age” and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
