Eileen Hurley is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with postgraduate certifications in Family Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She has over 40 years of experience in community health care in Rochester, NY, serving socially and economically disadvantaged families. For the past 30+ years, Eileen has developed trauma-informed psychosocial services and healthcare projects for the uninsured, incarcerated youth, adults with criminal histories, earthquake survivors in Haiti, and former child soldiers and refugees in Africa. Currently, her work focuses on young gun violence survivors living with spinal cord injuries.
