Dr. Tasha Green Cruzat is a highly accomplished professional and advocate for children’s rights, with a distinguished career in public service, education reform, and community leadership. As a United States Navy veteran, she brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication to her role as the president of Children’s Advocates for Change. She previously served in leadership with Voices for Illinois Children, Cook County Board President, the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget (Illinois), Illinois Department of Central Management Services, and High Jump. In 2019, she was recognized as one of Chicago Defender’s Women of Excellence, affirming her commitment to making a positive impact in her community. Dr. Green Cruzat holds an Ed.D. from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, an MA in Education Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BA in Political Science from Brooklyn College.
