Brigit Hurley

As Chief Program Officer at The Children’s Agenda in Rochester, NY, Brigit oversees its policy, advocacy, and mobilizing work to achieve systemic change for children in New York State. She leads the statewide Kids Can’t Wait campaign to advance equitable access to services for young children with developmental delays and disabilities. She also coordinates The Children’s Agenda’s Interfaith Collaborative and its annual Children’s Sabbath. She previously worked at Catholic Charities, where she spent 10 years in the Office of Social Policy, working on issue advocacy and faith-based education and outreach. Prior to that, she served as Coordinator of the Rochester Toy Library and Peacemaker for the Presbytery of the Genesee Valley. Brigit earned a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
